Gemma McNaughton is an award winning UK photographer, based in Edinburgh. With a focus on Fashion & Documentary photography, her work is emotive with strong elements of narrative.

Adept in Creative Direction, Styling and Set Design, providing a well rounded approach to Fashion Photography.

Originally from Scotland but growing up between Perthshire and Belgium, she initially trained as a Pâtissière in Brussels. Coming to Edinburgh in 2014, she completed a degree in Languages which was valuable learning but didn't fulfill her creative side. She always had an interest in the arts, experimenting with various mediums over the years. Lockdown gave her the opportunity to further explore this; researching various photojournalists inspired her to pick up a camera for the first time in years. Reading about images which had a tangible impact in the world, and representing society and movements over the years drove Gemma to continue with her photography journey.
